People has a preview of her issue!
Jaime Pressly never wanted to tie the knot. But a girl can change her mind.
A mere four months after the Emmy winner, who plays trailer-queen Joy Turner on NBC’s My Name is Earl, met entertainment lawyer Simran Singh, Pressly was sailing down the aisle, dressed in a Caroline Herrera embroidered tulle gown, aglow with diamonds and pearls. Witnessing the picture-postcard September wedding on a Malibu bluff overlooking the Pacific – where the bride danced with her father to Louis Armstong’s “It’s a Wonderful World” – were 200 guests.
Now others may get a glimpse at the nuptials, in the winter 2010 issue of InStyle Weddings. Pressly, 32, says that even though her romance was whirlwind, the relationship is firmly grounded.
“I’ve been on my own for 17 years. I have a son, Dez James, who is 2 years old [from former longtime boyfriend, DJ Eric Cubiche] and a successful career,” she says. “I’m not flying by the seat of my pants. We’re both ready.”
Yet the sizzling connection between her and her now-husband felt like a bolt from the sky. “I was attracted to him right away. His smile, his beautiful skin – and there’s a wonderful intelligence about him,” she says.
In the past, Pressly admits she was usually attracted to charismatic guys – and the 6′,4″ Singh is ultra-reserved. “I loosen him up a bit and he makes me feel protected and loved,” says the smitten bride. “Sim is the first person I met that I was confident I would be able to grow old with.”

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009Jaime Pressly, the Emmy-winning star of My Name Is Earl (and of the soon-to-be-released romantic comedy I Love You, Man) shows of her amazing body and spills her secrets for getting sculpted in the new issue of Shape.
Jaime reveals that she allowed herself to eat whatever she wanted while she was pregnant. “I gained 42 pounds,” the 5-foot-4-inch actress tells Shape. “That’s a lot of weight for mama!” After her son was born, she set a specific goal: to get back in shape in time for her 30th birthday party. “I needed to get in the gym and run on the treadmill and lift weights,” she says.
Despite their best efforts, Jaime and fiancé Eric Cubiche recently split up. “We’re going through a rough patch,” says Jaime. “There are no bad feelings there. It’s not like someone cheated on someone else. Sometimes you need to take a step back and figure out what you need. For now we’re concentrating on being good parents.”
Four days a week, Los Angeles trainer Mike Jones leads Jaime through a circuit-training session that might include anything from kickboxing to power-lifting moves.
